O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to register a First Information Report based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 24.11.2015 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent. 2.The petitioner herein lodged a complaint on 24.11.2015 as against one Siddique @ Abupekkar, MisKinsha, Mr.Dhamu (Sub Registrar of Neelangarai) and two others on the allegation of land grabbing. But, till date no action was taken. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present criminal original petition.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the enquiry is in progress and the 2nd respondent police has to collect some more necessary documents.

5.In view of the submissions made by the petitioner as well as the Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the 2nd respondent Police to conduct enquiry expeditiously on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner dated 24.11.2015 and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, the 2nd respondent is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

6.This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
