The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondent to consider his petitioner's representation dated 22.09.2017, wherein and whereby he has sought for issuance of Certificate for Mental Retardation in the name of the petitioner's son, Kailash Kumar P.Jain.

2.Heard both sides.

3.It is stated by the petitioner that his son by name, Kailash Kumar P.Jain was diagnosed with "Moderate Mental Retardation with Chronic undifferentiated psychosis" by a Medical Report dated 11.08.2016. Therefore, the petitioner approached the respondent and filed the application on 22.09.2017 for issuance of the certificate, as stated supra. 4.The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent has not considered his request so far. petitioner, directs the respondent to consider the said representation of the petitioner dated 22.09.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after conducting proper enquiry. Such exercise shall be done by the respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
