PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to provide police protection to the petitoner from the hands of 4th respondent, who interfering with the petitioner's peaceful possession and enjoyment of his property comprised in S.F.Nos. 43/3 43/4, 45/1 and 45/2 measuring to an extent of 5 acres situated at Alliyandal Village, Chengal Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District by considering the representation dated 09.05.2024. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection to the petitioner from the hands of 4th respondent, who is allegedly interfering with the petitioner's peaceful possession and enjoyment of his property comprised in S.F.Nos. 43/3 43/4, 45/1 and 45/2 measuring to an extent of 5 acres situated at Alliyandal Village, Chengal Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District. 2/5

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 09.05.2024 will be considered and disposed of on merit by the 2nd respondent viz., the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Chengam, Tiruvannamalai District after hearing the petitioner.

3. Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for respondents 1 to 3 and perused the materials available on record.

4. Recording the above submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.05.2024 and to dispose the same on merit after hearing the petitioner.
