Respondent in all the W.Ps Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the petitioners' applications dated 05.08.2015, 05.08.2015 and 14.08.2015 (dealt with in R.Nos.41182/A3/2015, 41183/A3/2015 and 42735/A3/2015) respectively for the grant of contract carriage omni bus permit, forthwith. Pleader in all the W.Ps COMMON ORDER Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.M.S.Ramesh, learned Additional Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondent and with their consent, the main writ petitions are taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The writ petitions have been filed for a direction to the respondent herein to consider and dispose of the applications dated 05.08.2015, 05.08.2015 and 14.08.2015 of the petitioners herein to issue Contract Carriage Omni Bus Permits forthwith to them. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The petitioners have applied for Contract Carriage Omni Bus Permit to the respondent on 05.08.2015, 05.08.2015 and 14.08.2015 along with necessary required documents and fees, also pointing out that they are the existing contract carriage operators in the State of Tamil Nadu. But, till date, there is no response. Hence, the petitioners have approached this Court.

Without going into the merits of the case, these writ petitions are disposed of by directing the respondent to consider the applications of the petitioners dated 05.08.2015, 05.08.2015 and 14.08.2015 for grant of Contract Carriage Omni Bus Permit and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
