Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 18.04.2018 for the additional DBBL Gun licence and increased number of cartridges and Area validity and pass orders at an early date.

This Writ Petition has been preferred by the Petitioner to direct the First Respondent to consider the application dated 18.04.2018 made by the Petitioner for the additional DBBL Gun licence and increased number of cartridges and area validity. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents, on instructions, submitted that the application dated 18.04.2018 made by the Petitioner for the additional DBBL Gun licence and increased number of cartridges and area validity has been received and that the First Respondent would pass orders on the same in accordance with law within four weeks. 4.

In view of the aforesaid submission made by the Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents, this Court without expressing any view on the correctness or entitlement of the claim of the Petitioner, directs the First Respondent to consider and pass orders on the application dated 18.04.2018 made by the Petitioner on merits in accordance with law and communicate the decision taken to the Petitioner and file a compliance report before the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court by 15.07.2019.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed on the aforesaid terms. No Costs.
