PRAYER : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, direct the respondents 1 to 3 to increase the rent @ 5% once in 5 years and not to increase the advance deposit anymore in the forth coming year.

By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to respondents 1 to 3 to increase the rent @ 5% once in 5 years and not to increase the advance deposit anymore in the forth coming year.

3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 21.04.2018 to reduce the hike in rent and deposit every year, but, the same is yet to be disposed of by the respondents. However, the learned counsel submitted that it would suffice, if the said representation made by the petitioner is directed to be considered by the respondents, on merits.

4. Heard Mr.V.Anandhamurthy, learned Standing Counsel on behalf of respondents.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the representation, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
