[Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.] When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 2nd respondent submitted that the complaint received from the petitioner has since been forwarded to the 3rd respondent and a copy of the communication dated 10.05.2024 has also been furnished.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1, 3 to 5 submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to conduct an enquiry and dispose of the petitioner's complaint within a time frame.

3. In view of the above submission, the 3rd respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry and dispose of the petitioner's complaint on merits and in accordance with law within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. We make it clear that we have not gone into the merits of the matter. The defence of the person against whom allegations have been made do not stand foreclosed.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
