PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, prayed to call for the records relating to the First Information Report registered in Crime No.34 of 2014 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Anti Land Grabbing Cell, Villupuram/first respondent herein and to quash the same. ORDER

This petition has been filed by the accused Nos.1 to 6 to quash the F.I.R in Crime No.34 of 2014on the file of the first respondent.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) has submitted that after investigation, the matter has been referred as "mistake of fact" and to that effect, report has been filed before the concerned Court after serving notice to the second respondent on 17.10.2014. He has produced a copy of the final report along with copy of the notice which was served on the second respondent.

3. A perusal of the aforesaid report shows that the first respondent has referred the matter as "mistake of fact" and filed a final report on 17.09.2014. Therefore, this petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.

4. It is open to the second respondent to avail any other remedy which is available under the law.
