ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a limited relief. The petitioners seek an early disposal of O.S.No.70 of 2022, Page No.1 of 4

pending on the file of the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate Court, Edappadi.

2. Since no adverse order is passed against the respondents in this civil revision petition, notice to the respondents is dispensed with by this Court.

3. According to the petitioners, the 1st plaintiff in the suit died as early as in the year 2024. Till date, no steps have been taken to bring on record the legal representatives of the deceased. According to the petitioners, the suit ought to have been dismissed as abated. However, till date, the suit is yet to be disposed of by the trial court.

4. No prejudice would be caused to any of the parties, if a direction is issued to the trial court, namely the District Munsif-cumJudicial Magistrate Court, Edappadi to dispose of O.S.No.70 of 2022, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Page No.2 of 4

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the contentions raised by the petitioners in this revision.

6. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of by directing the trial court, namely the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate Court, Edappadi to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.70 of 2022, within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
