With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.The petitioner is a High Tension Industrial Consumer, which is involved in the manufacture of yarn. The petitioner is having electricity connection with a load of 1000 KVA. For expansion of the industry, the petitioner needs additional load of 600 KVA. In this regard, it is alleged that the petitioner made an application on 18.5.2015. However, the said application has not yet been disposed of, which compelled the petitioner to approach this Court. 3.Heard Mr.S.P.Parthasarathy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.K.Raameshwar, learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

4.The respondent Corporation denied the receipt of the application submitted by the petitioner dated 18.05.2015. However, the petitioner is unable to produce any proof and produced only the alleged reminders sent by the petitioner, which is not denied by the respondents.
5.Hence, instead of going into the question as to whether the application dated 18.05.2015, has been filed by the petitioner or not, it is appropriate to direct the petitioner to submit a fresh application to the second respondent requesting for additional load and on receipt of the said application, the second respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders for sanctioning additional load, within a period of six weeks thereafter. It is made clear that this Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the application to be filed by the petitioner.
The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
