Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records in RC.No.27084/NGB/II(3)/2000 and Rc.No.208179/NGB-II(3)/2005, dated 07.03.2005 and 06.10.2005 respectively on the file of the second respondent and to quash the seniority list in the said records published in the above proceedings in so far as its is displacing the directly recruited Writ Petitioners through the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission by inter placing the 3rd respondent representing the group of persons detailed in the Annexure to this Writ Petition and consequently to direct the respondents to fix the seniority of the directly recruited petitioners through the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission over and the above the other recruits shown in Annexure - A represented by the third respondent. For Petitioners : No Appearance For Respondents : Mr.K. Ravi Kumar Additional Government Pleader

When the writ petition was taken up for hearing on 17.04.2018, there was no representation for the petitioner and hence, the matter was ordered to be posted on 19.04.2018 under the caption 'for dismissal'.
2. Today, even though, the matter is listed 'for dismissal', neither the petitioner nor his counsel is present to prosecute the matter. Hence the Writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs.
Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
