O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner and his family members.

2. The petitioner submitted that based on a false complaint by one Chandravelan, the respondent police are frequently calling the petitioner and his family members and harassing them under the guise of enquiry.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that only for the purpose of enquiry, based on the complaint lodged by one Chandravelan, the petitioner is called for the enquiry and the respondent police has no intention to harass the petitioner or his family members and only to avoid the enquiry, the present petition has been filed.

4. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is constrained to pass the following order:- (i) The petitioner is directed to cooperate with the enquiry.

(ii) The respondent police is directed to conduct the enquiry in accordance with law, without harassing the petitioner or his family members.

5. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
