ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM.J.,) This writ petition has been filed challenging the order dated 20.11.2020 bearing reference Na.Ka.No.2661/2016/Aa4, passed by the first respondent.

2. In view of the order passed in W.A.No.1655 of 2021 relegating the parties to appear before the District Revenue Officer, Kancheepuram (now Chengalpattu) for adjudication of all the issues in entirety and directing the District Revenue Officer to pass appropriate orders, the order impugned in the present writ petition needs to be set aside. However, the merits involved in the case has to be decided uninfluenced by the earlier revenue orders passed by the District Revenue Officer.

Accordingly, this writ petition is allowed and the impugned order of the District Revenue Officer dated 20.11.2020 bearing reference Na.Ka.No.2661 of 2016 Aa4 is set aside and the parties are at liberty to place all their contentions before the District Revenue Officer for fresh consideration and the District Revenue Officer shall decide the issue on merits and in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
