ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The present writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of Mandamus to direct the 3rd and 7th Respondents to conduct the ceremony SHRI DRAUPADI AMMAN THIRUKOVIL jointly allowing petitioner to wear sacred thread, permit petitioner to walk through sacred fire and allow Chariot carrying the deity to be taken through colonies/places/areas belonging to Harijans.

At the outset, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that petitioner's representation dated 04.12.2025 would be considered by constituting a Peace Committee comprising inter alia, the petitioner, HR & CE Officials and the members of the 12th Respondent Trust and any other interested parties, and appropriate orders would be passed after issuing notice to petitioner, within a time period to be stipulated by this Court. Agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.

In view of the same, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated 04.12.2025 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law on constituting a Peace Committee comprising inter alia, the petitioner, HR & CE Officials and the members of the 12th Respondent Trust and any other interested parties, after issuing notice and after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to constituents/members of Peace Committee and any other interested persons within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for receipt of certified copy of the order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law.
