Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.01.2016 to grant Patta in his name with respect to his fathers property bearing dry lands of 3 Cawnis for land an extent of 4 Acres out of 17 Acres 63 cents comprised in S.No.19A-17.13 more fully described in the schedule of the writ petition within the stipulated period of time.

2.The petitioner vide representation dated 06.01.2016 prayed for grant of patta in his name, in respect of his father's property admeasuring to an extent of 3 Cawnis of land - 4 Acres out of 17 Acres and 63 Cents in S.No.19A-17.13 at Chinna Thatchur Village, T.Pudupalayam Post, Vikkiravandi Taluk, Villupuram District and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.A.Thamizharasan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sanjai Gandhi, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4.This Court taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 06.01.2016, on merits and in accordance with law, after putting on notice the persons concerned and appropriate pass orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and inform the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as the persons concerned.
