PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner representation dated on 17.06.2017 and transfer the petitioner to 5th respondent office as Junior Assistant.

The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner argued for a considerable length of time and he urged this court for issuing an order of direction for considering the representation, when this Court has raised a concern about https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the right of the writ petitioner to claim transfer as a matter of right. The learned counsel has submitted that the writ petitioner is willing to withdraw the writ petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect. Accordingly, the writ petitioner is permitted to withdraw the writ petition. Thus, the writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. However, there is no order as to costs.
