ORDER

By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The present writ petition is filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to conduct a field survey of the property comprised in S.No.166/3A (subdivision as S.No.166/3A1B) measuring an extent 0.20 cent situated at Periyamuthur Village, 3.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is the owner of the above mentioned property and the said property was sold as Document No.R/296/1/0300/2006 before the Sub Registrar Office, Krishnagiri District. It is further submitted that petitioner had applied for conducting a field survey and had paid necessary fees for the same. Thereafter, petitioner made representations dated 05.09.2018, 14.02.2022 and 05.06.2024, the same were not 2/5

considered by the 3rd respondent till date. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4.Learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents would submit that they would conduct a field survey of the subject property within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner. 5.In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the 3rd respondent to conduct a field survey, after putting the petitioner, adjacent land owners and other interested parties including rival claimants if any on notice, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
