This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to give police protection to fence the petitioner's property comprising in Survey No.152/17B measuring 5.5 cents situated at East Rajapalayam, Gangavalli Taluk, Salem District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 16.04.2018.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that when he wanted to fence his property, his neighbour N.Thangarj is causing obstruction.

3. In a dispute of this nature, a direction to the respondent police to grant police protection cannot be granted. Hence, this petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Civil Court and work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
