ORDER

1.

By consent of the learned counsel on either side, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal. The learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. 2.

The prayer in this Writ Petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to allot the petitioner for the day time light duty based on the petitioner representation dated 22.06.2021 within stipulated time. 3.

This Court heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

4.

Though the prayer in this Writ Petition is for a larger relief, the learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his argument to the limited extent of directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 22.06.2021, expeditiously. 5.

Considering the limited prayer now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the respondents are directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 22.06.2021, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.

With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
