This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 123 days in filing the Criminal appeal SR.No.23507 of 2026, challenging the sentence made in Spl.S.C.No.100 of 2022, vide order dated 14.10.2025 by the learned Sessions Judge, Principal POCSO Court, Salem.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Udayakumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. Satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed.

4. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and list the same for admission in due course.
