This petition has been filed to call for the records in C.C.No.5803 of 2018 pending on the file of the XIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai and quash the same. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Heard both sides.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent has submitted that some of the accused in C.C.No.5803 of 2018 only filed the quash petition before this court in Crl.O.P.No.23145 of 2021 and this court by an order dated 13.12.2021, quashed the entire proceedings as against all the accused persons in C.C.No.41 of 2020 on the file of the Additional Special Court for Trial of Cases related to Members of Parliament and Members of Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu (formerly C.C.No.5803 of 2018 on the file of the XIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai). In view of the same, the trial court also closed the main case.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
