[Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.] The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in the light of the stand taken by the Corporation of Chennai in WP.No.18817/2017 that realignment of the Storm Water Drain on account of the technical feasibility Study, the possession of the petitioner may not be disturbed and as such nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. The Court heard the submissions of Mr.V.C.Selvasekaran, learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and Mrs.M.E.Rani Selvam, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 5th respondent.
In the light of the said development, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
