ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.02.2025 and permit me to run the bunk shop at No. 40, Thiru.Vi.Ka.Salai (GB Road), Chennai - 600 002.

By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

Heard Mr.S.Pushpakaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. E.C.Ramesh, learned counsel, who has taken notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. The petitioner is running a Bunk Shop at No. 40, Thiru.Vi.Ka.Salai (GB Road), Chennai - 600 002 . He has given a representation to the respondents seeking permission to run the said shop in terms of the Street

Vendors (Protection of livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014.

5. The respondents are directed to dispose of the representation dated 17.02.2025 given by the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till such time, the petitioner shall not be disturbed.
