City Municipal Corporation Act and the Chennai City Municipal Corporation Licensing of Hoardings and Levy and Collection of Advertisement Tax Rules, 2003.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The authority for issuing licenses now vests with the Commissioner, Corporation of Chennai and a Committee has been formed for the said purpose, as informed in W.P.No.28223 of 2016. It would be that Committee which would require to examine the request for licenses.

2. The writ petition is closed. No costs.
