Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to transfer the investigation in Crime No.250 of 2010 on the file of the 1st respondent police and transfer it to the 2nd respondent. 2.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that though the F.I.R. is registered, due to trifurcation and change in station building, C.D. file was misplaced and investigation could not be done. When the trifurcation once again took place, the misplaced F.I.R was traced and the respondent police would complete the investigation and file a final report shortly. 3.Such view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that transfer of investigation would not arise. The respondent police shall expedite the investigation and file a final report within a period of four (4) months. The investigation shall be monitored by the Deputy Commissioner of Police.

4.In the result, this Criminal Original Petition shall stand disposed of.
