C.SARAVANAN, J.

The petitioners who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b) an d 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No. Not Known of 2024, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Prima facie there is a dispute between the first petitioner and the de-facto complainant, who has filed a complaint and which has been acknowledged as C.S.R. No.167 of 2024.

2. In such view of the matter, the first petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police for enquiry as and when he is required.

3. The rest of the petitioners, prima facie may be involved in the alleged crime. Hence, the respondent may ask them to appear for enquiry on prior intimation and during day time, for a period not more than twice.

4. The respondent is directed to enquire the complaint of the dePage No.1 of 3

facto complainant and take a decision as to whether the case has to be registered and the First Information Report (F.I.R) has to be registered.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
