Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India seeking a writ of Certiorarified mandamus calling for the records on the file of the 4th respondent in G.O.2216 Revenue dated 11.8.1950 as amended by G.O. 2210 Revenue dated 1.8.1952 and quash the proceedings therein as illegal incompetent irregular and unconstitutional in so far as the classification of the land in S.No.24 of Sanaputhur Village as forest and further forbear the respondents their men agents and subordinate from in any way interfering with the petitioner peaceful possession and enjoyment over the property at survey number 24 Kondamanellore Village Eadur post Gummudipoondi Taluk Tiruvallur District.

Realising that the petitioner/appellant need not have challenged G.O.No.2216, Revenue Department dated 11.08.1950 as amended by G.O.No.2210, Revenue Department dated 01.08.1952, submission has been made by Mr.R.Venkatesulu, learned counsel for the appellant that the writ petition itself be dismissed as withdrawn and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
2. Placing on record the above, Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
3. Consequent to the dismissal of writ petition, nothing survives for adjudication in the instant writ appeal. Accordingly, Writ Appeal is closed. No costs.
