PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to rectify the online process so as to enable all children who have crossed 6 years and who are desirous of applying for I Standard to avail the benefit under the RTE Act in the form of Writ of mandamus. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondents to rectify the online process so as to enable all children who have crossed 6 years and who are desirous of applying for I Standard to avail the benefit under the RTE Act.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the time to apply for availing the benefits under the RTE Act has already over. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous. 2/4

Therefore, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
