This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner and her family members as per the representation dated 05.04.2018.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that she has filed WP.No.5274 of 2018 before this Court, for removal of certain encroachment and the said writ petition is pending. It is the apprehension of the petitioner that the encroachers may assault the petitioner and therefore, the petitioner filed the present petition.

3. The petitioner is directed to give a complaint in person to the respondent police, who shall enquire into it and shall ensure that no harm befall the petitioner.
