Mr.K.Sathish Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for TASMAC takes notice for the respondent.

2.With the consent of learned counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner preferred an appeal before the respondent, namely the appellate authority, on 03.08.2021 and the said appeal is still pending. Therefore, he seeks a direction to the respondent to pass orders on the appeal filed by the petitioner within a time frame.

4.Mr.K.Sathishkumar, learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent, submitted before this Court that the respondent will conclude the appeal proceedings and will pass suitable

orders on merit.

5. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondent to conclude the appeal proceedings and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
