PRAYER: Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to implement the 15th Wage Settlement dated 29-05-2025 and to revise the salary of the petitioners and to pay the difference amount of salary from 01-09-2023 till the date of retirement and to revise all the retirement benefits of the petitioners based on the revised salary as per 15th Wage Settlement dated 2905-2025 and to pay the amount to the petitioners along with 12 percent interest per annum from the date of retirement within the time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To direct the respondents to implement the 15th Wage Settlement dated 29-05-2025 and to revise the salary of the petitioners and to pay the difference amount of salary from 01-092023 till the date of retirement and to revise all the retirement benefits of the petitioners based on the revised salary as per 15th Wage Settlement dated 29-05-2025 and to pay the amount to the petitioners along with 12 percent interest per annum from the date of retirement within the time frame fixed by this Court."

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused

the materials available on record.

3. The petitioners are the retired employees of the first respondent corporation who were retired in the year 2024 and 2025. Subsequently, the 15th Wage Settlement was entered into between the Management and the Trade Unions on 29.05.2025, pursuant to which the wages and pension were also revised with effect from 01.09.2023. Since the petitioner had retired in the year 2024 and 2025, they are entitled to the difference in leave salary and gratuity and their salary and retirement benefits are to be revised as per the 15th Wage Settlement. Accordingly, the petitioners submitted a representation seeking revision of salary and retirement benefits and to pay the difference in leave salary and gratuity as per the 15th wage settlement dated 29.05.2025. However, the said representations has not been considered so far.

In view of the above, the respondents are directed to revise the salary of the petitioners and to pay the difference amount of salary from 01-09-2023 till the date of retirement and to revise all the retirement benefits of the petitioners based on the revised salary, in accordance with the 15th Wage Settlement dated 29.05.2025, together with interest at the

rate of 6% per annum, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is ordered. 01-06-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order ssa
