ORDER

This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 22.07.2025. 2.Heard the leaned counsel for the petitioner. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has sent complaints to the respondents police on 19.07.2025, 22.07.2025 and 24.07.2025 seeking to initiate action against the third respondent for the return of money from him. It is contended that the petitioner had executed various works as labour contractor for the third respondent but there is outstanding amount payable by the third respondent. When the third respondent was asked to settle the outstanding amount, he threatened the petitioner and therefore, a complaint was given to the police.

The counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was called for enquiry and he has produced relevant materials to the police, but no action has been taken so far. It is further contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that nearly around Rs.95 lakhs is payable by the third respondent and the petitioner is unable to do his business and is also facing life threat from the third respondent.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor who takes notice for 2/5

respondents 1 and 2 submitted that both the petitioner and the third respondent were called for an enquiry and they appeared on 30.07.2025. Both have requested for time to produce documents in support of their contentions. Thereafter, the present writ petition has been filed. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner is ready to appear before the second respondent on 07.05.2026 and produce all available documents to substantiate his claim. 5.This court has considered the submissions made by both sides. The submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner is recorded. In the light of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner shall appear before the second respondent police on 07.05.

2026 with all supporting documents, the second respondent is directed to ensure the presence of the third respondent also on that day and the second respondent shall conduct an enquiry and to take appropriate steps in the manner known to law after affording an opportunity to both sides and in any event, the enquiry shall be completed within a period of two months thereafter, i.e., from 07.05.2026. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
