O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register a case on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner dated 23.10.2015.

2. The petitioner submitted that on 23.10.2015 at about 1.00 P.M the accused Kuthbudheen way laid the petitioner and attacked on her right forearm with blade, as a result of which she sustained profuse bleeding and hence she went to Government Stanley Medical College Hospital, thereafter she has preferred a complaint before the respondent police on 23.10.2015 against the accused Kuthbudheen. Though C.S.R.No.705 of 2015 has been assigned on her complaint, till date no action has been taken. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint of the petitioner, C.S.R.No.705 of 2015 has been assigned and the matter is pending for enquiry.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

police to conduct an enquiry on the complaint dated 23.10.2015 in C.S.R.No.705 of 2015 and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

5. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
