PRAYER:
Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider petitioner's representation dated 22.06.2021 for transferring the petitioner to any of the Government Office in Cuddalore District on Medical and Humanitarian grounds.

ORDER

By consent of the learned counsel on either side, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal and is disposed of by this order.

Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
respondents to dispose of the petitioner representation dated 22.06.2021 pending on the file of the second respondent in accordance with law, within a time frame. 4.
This Court heard the submissions of the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed before it.

This Court considering the limited prayer sought for in this Writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 22.06.2021, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner herein.

With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
