: Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for

issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to replace the portrait of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar in its original place and direct to conduct enquiry, on the complaint made by the petitioner against the 3rd respondent dated 05.01.2024, within a time frame fixed by this Court. For Petitioner :

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3.

2. It is not necessary to go into the merits of the allegations made in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition. The grievance of the petitioner is that the portrait of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar had been removed.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the third respondent submits that on account of carrying out of renovation works, the portrait was removed for a short while and now it has been restored to its original place. The learned Special Government Pleader also produced the

photographic evidence in support of his submission. In view of the above, I am satisfied that the petitioner's grievance has been met. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
