ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] Seeking transfer of the convict prisoner viz., Hariharan (CT.No.16191) from the Central Prison, Cuddalore to the Central Prison, Puzhal, an application was submitted and the same was rejected by the 1st respondent on 23.02.2018, aggrieved by which, the present petition has been filed in the year 2021.

2. We are of the view that much water has flown under the bridge, after the impugned order was passed in the year 2018 and therefore, it is open to the petitioner to file a fresh request for prison transfer and on such application being filed, the same may be considered expeditiously, bearing in mind the relevant rules and the COVID-19 protocol.
