Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Villupuram Division to dispose of the bail application filed by the petitioners on the same day in the event of their surrender, pending investigation in Crime No.499 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER

The petitioners, alleging that they have been falsely implicated by the respondent for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 355 and 506(ii) I.P.C. read with Section 3(1)(x) of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, seeks a direction to the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Villupuram Division to consider and dispose of their bail application that will be filed by them under Section 439 of Cr.P.C. on the same day of their surrender before him in connection with Crime No.499 of 2015 on the file of the respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Considering the nature of the prayer sought for and taking note of the fact that the petitioners are prepared to surrender before the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Villupuram Division, there shall be a direction to the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Villupuram Division, to consider the bail application to be submitted by the petitioners along with their surrender before that Court, on the same day on merits and pass appropriate orders. The criminal original petition is ordered accordingly.
