ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking to pass an order against the respondents 1, 2 and 4 in the form of writ of mandamus forbearing them from regularizing the 5th respondent's
unapproved layout formed in the land comprised in S.No.46/1 (part) and S.No.47/3 in Sukkampalayam Village, Palladam Taluk,
2. Earlier notice was ordered to the respondents. Mr.V.Shanmuga Sundar, the learned Special Government Pleader, who was present in court had taken notice for the respondents 1 to 3 and had sought for time to get instruction from the respondents 1 to 3.

Today, when the writ petition was taken up for hearing, Mrs.Ramya Revathy, the learned Government Advocate, on instructions from the respondents 1 to 3, submitted that even prior to the filing of the writ petition, the application submitted by the 5th respondent for regularization of his unapproved layout has been granted by the 4th respondent by order dated 31.05.2018. She has also produced a xerox copy of the order of the 4th respondent.
4. In the light of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication. However, it is needless to point out that if at all the petitioner is still aggrieved, he can very well work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
5. In the result, the writ petition is dismissed with the above observation. No costs. Consequently, connected WMP is closed.
