ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order dated 30.09.2024, passed by this Court in W.P.No.26107 of 2024, thereby directed the respondent to pay monthly maintain of Rs.10,000/- and to give residence to the petitioner failing which,

the order of cancellation of patta shall stand automatically restored. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that as directed by this Court, the respondent is regularly paying a sum of Rs.10,000/- as monthly maintenance and the same was duly acknowledged by the petitioner. Insofar as the accommodation is concerned, two rooms are kept vacant. However, the petitioner is residing with her daughter and as such, she is not interested to reside in the house. 3.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the respondent is paying monthly maintenance, she is not allowed to enter into the house of the respondent.

In view of the above submissions, the respondent is directed to permit the petitioner to reside in the said house. If the respondent refused to allow the petitioner to enter into the house, the Inspector of Police, Chrompet, is directed to take appropriate action as against the respondent.

With the above directions, the Contempt Petition stands disposed of.
