Respondents PRAYER:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent dated 28.06.2021 in his office Ref.C3.D.O.No.42/2021 against the petitioner's husband by name Thiru.Selvaraj, S/o.Margabandhu, aged about 40 years, now under the custody of the 4th respondent namely Central Prison, Vellore, Vellore District and set aside the same and direct the

respondents to produce the above said detenu before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by R.HEMALATHA, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in Ref.C3/D.O.No.42/2021, dated 28.06.2021, detaining her son as "BOOTLEGGER" under Section 3(1) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.3414, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department, dated 03.08.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
