O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to quash the order passed by the respondent in Na.Ka.No.04/CO-UDPM/ALR/2024, dated 11.05.2024 and to issue consequential directions to the respondent to give police protection and permit him to conduct the cultural programs and dance program proposed to be conducted on 28.05.2024 in the "Arulmigu Maha Mariamman Temple" at Kumizhiyam village and post and Sendurai Taluk, Ariyalur District.
2. The learned counsel for petitioner would submit that the temple festival is over and only a cultural event is proposed to be held on 28.05.2024. It is submitted that the earlier permission was rejected on the ground that the election was conducted. The learned counsel has also relied on the decision of this court in W.P.No.13304 of 2024 dated 09.05.2023.
3. Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for respondent and perused the materials 2/4
available on record.

Having considered the submissions of the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), I find no reason to decline the relief claimed by the petitioner in so far as the cultural event to be held on 28.05.2024. Accordingly, the respondent is directed to give suitable protection for the cultural event to be held on 28.05.2024.
