This petition has been filed to extend the time period fixed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.14381 of 2022 dated 22.06.2022, for disposing the appeal in Crl.A.No.82 of 2017.

2. This Court by an order dated 22.06.2022 allowed the Crl.O.P.No.14381 of 2022 by directing the transferee, the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Chengalpattu to dispose of the appeal in Crl.A.No.82 of 2017, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. The learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Chengalpattu has addressed a letter dated 07.09.2022 to the Registry seeking extension of further one month time for the reasons stated in the said letter.

3. This Court perused the letter dated 07.09.2022 sent by the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Chengalpattu and is satisfied with the reasons for not disposing the appeal in Crl.A.No.82 of 2017 within the 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
