ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's

appeal dated 31.12.2025 preferred against the order of the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.COLREV.COLR/350/2025/C1 dated 06.10.2025.

2. Heard Mr.Guruprasad, learned Government counsel takes notice on behalf of the first respondent. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel on either side, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. At the outset, learned counsel for the first respondent would submit that petitioner's appeal dated 31.12.2025 would be considered by first respondent in accordance with law, and appropriate orders will be passed within a time period to be fixed by this Court.

3. In view of the above, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 31.12.2025, in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to petitioner and any other interested persons, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the case on its own merits and in accordance with law.

4. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
