O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to register the complaint dated 17.12.2015 and investigate and direct to file final report as is envisaged under Code of Criminal Procedure.

2. The petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent police as against one Mahalakshmi, Ilangovan, Gandhi Kamaraj and Parthiban. But no action was taken by the second respondent on the complaint lodged by the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition.

3. When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint lodged by the petitioner was registered by the Inspector of Police, E.6 Thiruporur Police Station, in Crime No.681 of 2015 for the offences under sections 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) IPC. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Since a case was already registered on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, the prayer has been made in the present petition has become infructuous. Hence, the criminal original petition is closed.
