O R D E R

When the matter came up for hearing today, the petitioner as well as the second respondent/defacto complainant are personally present before this Court and identified themselves.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the first respondent.

3.On 02.02.2018, since the matter pertains to matrimonial dispute, this Court has referred it to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre for arriving at an amicable settlement. On conciliation, an amicable settlement was arrived at between the parties and a memorandum of compromise dated 05.02.2018 has been filed by them. In the said memorandum of compromise, the defacto complainant/second respondent has stated that the dispute has been amicably settled and she has no objection to withdraw the complaint pending against the petitioner registered in Cr.No.511 of 2017 by the respondent police as well as other complaints pending against the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.In view of the same, the investigation in Cr.No.511 of 2017 on the file of the first respondent is quashed. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. The memorandum of compromise dated 05.02.2018 shall form part of the order.
