Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the order dated 25.04.2019 from the respondent's file and to quash the same as unlawful, illegal and unconstitutional and cannot be sustainable under any law and also direct the respondent to grant the permission to the petitioner for holding Fasting Protest on any other day at EKM Abudl Gani Market, Erode premises from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. with police protection on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 25.04.2019 made to the respondent.

ORDER

The relief as sought for in this writ petition cannot be granted at this point of time, since the date of the meeting itself is over.

2.It is left open to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the respondent Police and seek for a direction if he wants to conduct any meeting in future and the respondent Police shall consider the same and take a decision in accordance with law.
