ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.,] (1) The detenue, a young girl of 20 years has been secured and we had the benefit of examining her and also her mother. (2) The petitioner claims that he has married the detenue. Though the detenue appears to be a minor, she claims that she is aged 18 years. But very categorically she stated that she would prefer to stay with her mother, who is also present in Court.

(3) It would only be appropriate that some time is to be given to her to reflect of how to take her life forward and for that purpose, we hold that it would be to her advantage that if her custody is to be handed over to the mother itself.

(4) Learned counsel for the petitioner is also present and had been informed of this.

(5) Recording the statement of the detenue, the Habeas Corpus Petition

stands closed.
