Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to inspect / survey the vacant land comprised in old S.Nos.24 and 4/1 (part) and New Survey T.S.Nos.17, 18 and 19, Block No.10, Ward.No.69, Zone-VI, measuring a total extent of 23,9355 sq.ft (55 cents), situated at Door.Nos.15 to 17, Raghavan Street, Village No.62, Siruvallur Village, Purasaiwakkam and Perambur Taluk, Chennai and the 5th respondent to provide adequate security for the purpose of survey, considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.05.2021 followed by a 2/6
reminder dated 10.03.2025 and online application dated 19.04.2025, within a time frame and directing the 3rd respondent to cancel the Town Survey Land Registers all in C.A.No.909/93-94 in TR/1090/93-94 all dated 10.12.1993, issued by the 4th respondent and other revenue records issued in the name of the respondents 6 and 7, considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.05.2021, followed by a reminder dated 10.03.2025.

This writ petition has been filed for issue of a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 17.05.2021, wherein, the petitioner sought for cancellation of the entry made in the Town Survey Register which stands in the name of the respondents 6 and 7 and to make necessary entry in the name of the petitioner. The petitioner is also seeking for conducing survey with respect to the subject property.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 4 and the learned 3/6
Government Advocate for R5.
3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner dated 17.05.2021 on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity to respondents 6 and 7 and final orders shall be passed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Subject to the final result before the third respondent, the petitioner can seek for survey thereafter. This Writ Petition is disposed of in the above terms. There shall be no order as to costs.
