This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the Court below to number the Domestic Violence petition that is pending before the Court and proceed further in accordance with law.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the complaint was given before the Protection Officer on 20.11.2018 and after enquiry, a report was submitted before the IX Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet on 23.01.2019. Even thereafter, the petition is not being numbered and every time, it is adjourned as ''Check and Call. 3. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the case is again posted on 14.06.2019. The Court below is directed to immediately number the petition, if it is in order and proceed further in accordance with law.
