Educational Officer, Dharmapuri District, Dharmapuri, the 2nd respondent herein vide his proceedings No.Na.Ka.No.1668/A1/2020 dated 16.03.2023 and quash the same as illegal, arbitrary, unreasonable being violative of rules and principles of natural justice and thereby direct the respondents herein to permit the petitioner to retire from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.05.2023 with all monetary and service benefits. ORDER
With the consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The charge memo dated 16.03.2023 framed under Section 17(a) of the Tamil Nadu Civil Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, is put under challenge in the present Writ Petition.
3. Pursuant to the interim order of this Court dated 18.05.2023, the respondents have completed the enquiry and have imposed a Censure, through an order dated 29.05.2023. Likewise, they have also passed orders 2/4
on 31.05.2023, permitting the petitioner to retire from service.
4. In view of the aforesaid developments, the prayer sought for in the present Writ Petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
